Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate Developer - Remote 

(OUTSIDE IR35)

 

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Freelance Microsoft Power Apps Developer to come and work on one particular project. We will consider candidates who want to work on this in their own spare time or candidates who will take this as a full-time role.

Problem Statement:

To become a data driven organization, cross functional teams depending on their responsibilities (analytics SME, marketers, Commercial leads and Management, Field teams, PED) need to be able to find, view and interrogate prepared and vested reports, answer ad hoc questions easily and across multiple sources in order to achieve a 360 view of commercial activities and related impact.  

Today, dashboards and therefore insights are in silos, and difficult to find. As a result, users spend more time locating, waiting to receive,  requesting access to reports, rather than deriving insights from these. They may also be using old versions of reports which are no  longer up to date


 

Buiness Value:

As part of data democratization roadmap, “One stop shop” for hosting vested dashboards and related objects to evolve to active  analytics where users can interact with data instead of passively receiving reports, with controlled access based on role to enhance  security of proprietary data .  

There are multiple proof of concepts currently live in the business (Front End Janssen Ensemble, MDD Hubble and JJVC UK Nexus) which  are making data easier to consume across functions and geographies


 

In Scope:

Creation of a user interface for consumption of analytics  

  • Users: commercial and field teams, marketing and PED, local and regional leadership teams 
  • Contributors: local and regional analysts 
  • Ability to save preferred report for even easier access, ability to rate and share reports among users 
  • Search function capability for user from report name, report description etc 
  • Content: regional and local/country specific sections, Could also host specific & relevant trainings, ability to make ad hoc requests that will  be channeled thru relevant stakeholders (country, region) 
  • Sleek and engaging user interface: intuitive navigation, no training required 
  • Development and changes/enhancement: should be built on business friendly platform so that content can be added, refreshed and  managed by business 
  • Leveraging J&J SSO for access security and AD groups to control content on the portal


 

Professional Experience Required:

  • Microsoft suite contractor with experience designing Power Automate/Power App and SharePoint with access control


 

In Return

In return for this role you will receive a very competitive hourly/day rate. 

You can work in your own spare time or full time - The Manager is very flexible. 

We don’t see this role being any longer than 3 months, potentially longer if someone wants to work on this alongside other clients. Milestones can be agreed upon directly with the Manager.
