The Role:


Your key responsibility is to advance the Projects of the Optical Inspection Innovation suite in close collaboration with the extended OI Team. Through partnering with key functions across the supply chain, like, Quality, MSAT, MAM, and Digital, you play a key role in implementing new technologies and set the stage for a sustainable future development of the Optical Inspection.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership for feasibility studies

  • Main Contributor to GMP integrations

  • Coordination of vendor assessments and supplier agreements

  • Stakeholder management

  • Knowledge management & creation of documentation standards

  • Facilitation and execution of technology risk assessments

  • Knowledge management & creation of documentation standards

  • Support other activities in the team and work area according to appropriate procedures, values, and standards on an ad-hoc basis as the need arises.

  • Helps to implement programs and innovative initiatives for the optical inspection area, under direct supervision. 

  • Contributes to basic components of projects, programs, or processes for the manufacturing deployment area. 

  • Conducts basic trend analysis to support continuous improvement efforts for the organization's manufacturing deployment strategy. 


The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • B.Sc., M.Sc. or PhD in either Science or Engineering

  • Past proven field experience in one of the following areas: biopharmaceutical (GMP) manufacturing technology, Industrial image acquisition and evaluation technology, Process Engineering and/or system integration & automation, Process Analytical Technology

  • Proficiency in German and English

Competencies:

  • Project management experience

  • Prior lead of feasibility studies (planning, execution, evaluation, and documentation)

  • The ability to develop and/or assess Business Cases, and develop action plans related to Processes Improvements, Costs and/or Quality improvements.

  • Hands-on experience with image evaluation or automated visual inspection machines

  • Prior exposure to Operations, Quality Assurance and cGMP

  • Operational Excellence experience in Lean, Process Excellence, and/or Design Excellence
