Imagine your next role working closely with the SPM/PM to maximize sales and profitability throughout the brand's lifecycle by communicating a compelling vision, supporting the HoM, SPM, and PM in implementing marketing initiatives, leading designated projects, and providing logistical, administrative, and marketing support to drive brand development and revenue growth.
roles and responsibilities
Marketing activities
Play an active role in the implementation of the tactical plan, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
As activity owner for projects agreed with S/PM
Brainstorm solutions and tactics.
Define tactical objectives.
Define key tactics to achieve success.
Present project objectives and KPI to the marketing team.
Communicate issues with key stakeholders via verbal and written communication and business meetings.
Use KPIs and market information to inform start-stop continuation of projects.
Setting metrics and monitoring
Define brand metrics around specific marketing projects, flagging deviation from plan/KPI early, suggest and monitor appropriate action.
Optimally track and manage the marketing budget to avoid under/over-spend and phase spend effectively flagging under/overspend to PM and SPM
Track market trends and propose appropriate actions to address issues.
Coordinate implementation of tactical plan via direct and indirect channels:
Alongside SPM and PM, develop/share skills and knowledge to implement the omni-channel marketing mix to maximise budget.
Liaise with Med Affairs to ensure owned projects marketing activities and materials comply with internal SOP and Industry Code of Practice.
Identify and propose additional channel strategies and tactics, including taking a proactive role with J&J GenAI platform to evolve marketing message, resonance and materials.
Sales Force Communication:
Work alongside Sales Force Marketing Coordinators to shape and deliver projects and valuable content to gain their buy in and deliver brand objectives.
Effective communication to sales and sales management via verbal and written communication and business meetings
Spend time in the field with salesforce for customer engagement to gain insights that will support evolution of marketing materials.
Contribute to product training and internal meetings as subject matter expert.
Allocate promotional material to the Field Force and effectively manage inventory.
Approval processes
Own the marketing material approval process by
Collaborating closely with the Senior/ Product Manager, agencies, medical affairs and Commercial Lead
Uploading jobs & being responsible for the iMR review process
Following up with collaborators to encourage timely approval of materials through the copy approval system.
Archiving jobs once finalised
Financial processes
Raise purchase orders, liaising with suppliers/procurement to update them on status.
Maintain a PO and budget tracker to track team financials highlighting any variances against plan. Work with Procurement, Finance and S/PM to ensure timely goods receiving and invoicing from suppliers.
Materials Management
Following direction from the Product manager team, collaborate closely with print companies to lead printing and reprinting of marketing materials.
Lead warehouse stock levels of account team promotional/educational materials; book new stock in, monitor levels of promotional items, and make S/PM aware when items are low, review and update the product catalogues, order, and arrange delivery of materials for sales force, and aid the users of the online ordering system. Where appropriate order materials for healthcare professionals.
Following direction from S/PM, lead destruction of stock and updating of materials with PI / SmPC changes when necessary, sending out communications to the team in a timely manner, and monitoring confirmations from the account team that they have followed instructions.
Event Management
Create meetings and events, contracts and payments in the CRM system. Seek and track approvals, collaborate closely with suppliers/customers to capture required information, working closely with CAFs and HCC.
Co-ordinate the logistics of meetings on regional, national, and international scale. Liaise with venues, customers, and agencies; arrange materials delivery / collection as needed; provide on-site support as needed.
Timely submission of reports to meet Transfer of Value requirements.
General
Answer telephone and email queries from the sales force and support them where appropriate with materials, posting materials to them, arranging deliveries/ couriers etc.
Regularly (monthly) maintain CVT distribution lists
ensure safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors
Ensure HCC and legal requirements (Fair Market Value, Transfer of Value rules, Promotional Materials rules) are fully understood, appropriately managed and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.
Ensure inspection readiness with respect to personal training compliance, and availability of recent CV and individualized Job Description
