Location: High Wycombe

Working mode: Hybrid, 3 days on-site and 2 WFH

Duration: Until the end of December 2025 (opportunity for a contract extension)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join the Immunology team, reporting to Senior Product Manager - based in the J&J High Wycombe office. This Product Manager role will be positioned across the Immunology portfolio and specifically will be focused on:

  • Management and execution of national promotional meetings & peer to peer meetings including agency management

  • Coordination & process leadership of peer to peer meetings in close collaboration with Field sales Team 


roles and responsibilities

External Environment Scanning and Networking

  • Meet with and build partnerships with key external partners to develop insights on the NHS and competitive environment, including desk research, attend congresses etc

  • Identify and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders working in collaboration through commercial activities, delivering partnership, brand and company advocacy, trust and openness.


Strategy Development and direction (within therapy area)

  • Use appropriate tools and cross-functional inputs to produce situational analysis

  • Build strategy by advising on current product trends in conjunction with fellow product manager and CVT leads

  • Develop targeting and segmentation strategies

  • Map disease pathway and value pools to develop services and solutions to improve outcomes

Produce tactical business plan in collaboration with CVT

  • Support ongoing analysis of primary & secondary market research and business intelligence

  • Support/Lead workshops with Country Value Team (CVT) to brainstorm solutions and tactics, produce key tactics to achieve success

  • Present and share plans with the CVT and Marketing department

  • Use iCONNECT, Veeva and other business tools to implement the brand plan and bring together and use market information

  • Communicate issues with collaborators via verbal and written communication and business meetings


Financial Business planning

  • Support with raising Purchase orders and accurately goods-receipting to facilitate invoicing

  • Support the planning and tracking of Advertising and Sales Promotion budget based on tactical plan


Setting metrics and monitoring

  • Define brand metrics around specific marketing projects and monitor taking appropriate action.

  • Responsible for owning budget management of set items within the marketing budget, avoiding under/over spend and phase spend effectively.

  • Track market trends and propose appropriate actions to address issues


Lead marketing and sales teams

Produce a clear Brand direction by sharing strategic & tactical plans with field and marketing teams by:

  • Communicating effectively and regularly with Account Management teams and Regional Business Managers via verbal and written communication and business meetings to inspire and motivate them, to encourage and empower to align their activities behind the plan and gain feedback

  • Lead co-creation of promotional material and training with the field force based on need

  • May deliver product training and conferences as project owner


Coordinate implementation of tactical plan:

  • Support the development of the in-year tactical plan for marketing

  • Develop and project-manage sales and marketing materials, promotional materials and marketing and communications campaigns by collaborating with creative/PR/media agencies as well as Omnichannel colleagues

  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs to ensure all activities and materials align with current relevant guidelines

  • Plan marketing mix to optimise all available channels from budget and message perspective identify and propose additional channel strategies and tactics

  • Handle agencies alongside procurement to provide the best value for money


Key Compliance Requirements

  • Complete annual Drug Safety and HCC Awareness training.

  • Report Adverse Events and complaints in a timely way to Drug Safety according to current Adverse Event Reporting guidelines/SOP and to maintain Regulatory compliance.

  • Acts in accordance with Johnson & Johnson HCC requirements if interacting with Healthcare Professionals.

  • If commissioning contractors or third-party organisations, put contracts in place and provide training so that these individuals also act in accordance with Johnson & Johnson HCC requirements when interacting with Healthcare Professionals and report adverse events and complaints (as above)

  • Align with designated SOPs for the role.

Experience:

  • Project management skills and experience

  • Influencing and communication/inter-personal skills and an ability to work across functions/roles.

  • Immunology experience is desirable

  • Facilitation and presentation skills, virtually and face to face.

  • Consistent record of developing working collaborations at all levels (internally and externally).

  • Leadership without direct-line authority.

  • Achiever approach with focus on delivery.

  • Attention to detail.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Post-graduate degree is optional.

  • Previous Sales-Marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred
