Overall responsibilities


The Senior Planner role is providing guidance and support for project driven supply planning and product variant introduction through the supply chain with a focus on the cutover strategy. Ensures a strong alignment with business partners and drives process improvements. Supports the Planning Professionals in the operational process of the Product Version phase-in, phase-out activities of medical device products. 

Position duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinator for project specific variant introduction within Supply Chain.
- Monitor implementation and owing the execution to ensure smooth transition of variant codes into Supply Chain
- Prepare inputs for Demand Planning and cutover plan for Supply Network Planning
- Contribute to project teams through the variant implementation process
- Lead process improvements of the end to end cutover process in collaboration with affected departments
- Handle the impact of license expiry on end to end supply chain planning activity
- Provide relevant analytics and important metric reporting
- Train users and partners on cutover processes and systems
- Know and follow all laws and policies to apply the job and maintain the highest level of integrity, ethics and compliance at all time

Extended duties:
- Additional tasks and projects may be assigned by the Manager
Education Requirements:
- Higher technical or business education or equivalent further education in supply chain management like APICS certification
- Lean knowledge is an added bonus
 

Experience:
- At least 4-6 years professional work experience in strategic supply and demand planning
- Good knowledge of supply chain principles and methods
- Strong MS office skills & good understanding of ERP systems (SAP) as well as planning System prefered (OMP)
- Proven ability to learn complex end to end processes 
- Strong communication in English (spoken and written), German a benefit
- Project management experience is required
- Regulatory and compliance knowledge is preferred

- Ability for cross-departmental thinking and collaborative work in teams
- Ability to work independently in a structured and determined way. Handling priorities and providing reliable results.
- Ability to network with business partners and build strong collaborative teams and relationship
- Proven communication skills, making the complex clear
