Location: Remote (Onsite in Leeds for onboarding)
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 37 hours per week

roles and responsibilities
Ownership and creation of key design history file documentation
The creation of marketing claims and supporting evidence summaries
Development of surgical process documentation to support the launch of an orthopaedic system at an advanced stage of development
Creating, updating and compiling DHF documentation
Technical Writing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Making mid-level engineering and compliance decisions
Curating documentation around MDR / FDA
Act as a technical bridge with regular communication with an existing team of development engineers and cross-functional partners (both UK and US based)
how to succeed
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will also bring:
5 - 10 years of experience in a similar sector (Medical Devices / ISO 13485)
Strong experience / knowledge of MDR / FDA regulations
Proven background in Medical Devices, with a solid understanding of surgical processes and how implants/instruments are utilized by surgeons
Proven experience working within a global matrix (collaborating with teams across the UK, US, and Germany)
A professional, delivery-focused execution mindset—this role is a focused technical writing, auditing, and document-completion sprint to push a late-stage project over the line
details
This is primarily a remote position. On-site will be required for the onboarding process (2-3 days). This is a 6 month contract looking for a quick start (allowing at least 2 weeks for compliance).
