Project Leader
Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork
Duration: 12 Months
Hours: 8.30 - 5.30 Mon to Thurs, early finish on Fri
roles and responsibilities
Project Leader: Collaborating with global functions including Quality, Operations, Engineering and R&D, the Project Leader will be responsible for the successful delivery of strategic process/equipment development projects. The role involves aligning overall project objectives, defining the delivery strategy, managing the key stakeholders across the business and leading the project team to deliver all project objectives on time and within budget. This will involve:
Lead teams delivering projects in the Process Development space, with a focus on metals-forming processes and equipment sets.
Generate and deliver robust plans for the completion of all activities on time and within budget based on a sound understanding of WBS and inter-dependencies
Drive efficient & data-driven approaches to minimize schedule and budgetary risks
Align / collaborate effectively with other functions for seamless implementation by the project team
Actively manage project team-members in their delivery of tasks within available schedule and budget
Build strong relationships with all stakeholders, underpinned by timely and effective communication
Ensuring all activities comply with GMP, ISO and quality system requirements.
Ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental requirements are fulfilled
As a Project Leader, your typical day may include:
Reviewing project schedule and budget projections and managing issues as they arise
Communicating requirements to project Team and supporting them in the delivery of their assigned tasks.
Conducting update meetings with the project team members to review progress of assigned activities
Driving conversations with key stakeholders to resolve issues that may impact the project plan
Risk Assessment: capturing latest risk profile and implementing robust mitigations.
Being hands-on in all aspects of global manufacturing and supply chain operations as required to deliver

To be part of this high performing team you will have great attention to detail and have. You will also bring:
A degree level or similar qualification in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
A track record of leading high-value projects (>$1M~) that involved the validation of manufacturing processes and/or equipment within medical device manufacturing or similar regulated industry
Well-developed influencing skills and an ability to communicate easily with colleagues across all levels in the business.
