Project Manager - IPA Solvent Recovery Plant

Imagine your next project where you will be working in the position of a project manager that will lead and coordinate a multi-departmental and multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of a new solvent recovery process for a high volume med device manufacturing plant.
roles and responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and approving specifications for the recovered solvent, ensuring adherence to all requirements in a regulated manufacturing industry, and supporting the development and implementation of the validation plan for recovered solvent
This will involve:
Lead and coordinate multi-departmental and multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement a new Solvent recovery process in a high-volume med device manufacturing plant.
Development and approval of a Specification for Recovered Solvent. This will require engagement from R&D, EHS, Quality, MSE, Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, External Manufacturing & supplier quality.
Support the development of the Recovery process to ensure adherence to all requirements in a regulated manufacturing industry.
Support/drive the development and implementation of the Validation plan for recovered Solvent.
Ensuring engagement and support from all team members and stakeholders.
Interact closely with the project group to meet project timelines.
Support Operation readiness ensuring timely handover of equipment to operations.
Key areas are (but not limited to) Material Testing, Material Tracking, LIMS set Up, QA & QC, External Supply, EHS, Training.

You will also bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related fields
You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in project management in a regulated manufacturing industry, with experience in solvent recovery, preferred
You will have a combination of project management, process led chemical engineering and facility/ construction experience
Experience on working on brand new projects and change management experience
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines, such as GMP, FDA, EPA and OSHA

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a minimum of 12 months with a strong possibility of extending.
