Duration: 12 months (opportunity for a contract extension)
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Pay rate range: Competitive hourly rate (PAYE, Umbrella and Ltd options available)
Working with the Senior SAP Subject Matter Expert. The Project SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for supporting site SAP Plant Maintenance administrative activities. This SME will also be responsible for scoping, planning, and execution of SAP data changes vital for a successful Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) migration. This position requires a solid grasp of SAP plant maintenance systems, data management, and project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and meets all organisational partner requirements.
roles and responsibilities
Support site SAP Plant Maintenance administrative activities.
Ensure compliance of SAP Plant Maintenance procedures and processes.
Scoping and requirements gathering:
analyse existing SAP data structures and workflows to resolve scope of change requirements.
collaborate with site sponsors and partners to identify and detail vital SAP data changes in preparation for CMMS migration.
Planning and execution:
develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines timelines, resources, and critical milestones for the SAP data changes.
coordinate the execution of agreed-upon changes, ensuring compliance with site standards and alignment with project objectives.
Site liaison:
act as the main point of contact between the project team and site partners throughout the migration process.
facilitate regular meetings with site representatives to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and gather feedback.
Issue partner concerns:
identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or work that you are doing; advance these issues to relevant parties.
ensure site interests are effectively represented in all discussions and decision-making processes related to SAP changes.
Documentation and reporting:
maintain detailed documentation of all changes, decisions, and project achievement progress.
prepare and deliver regular status reports to project management and organisational partners, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.

how to succeed
Qualifications and experience (crucial):
Experience in project management within a process or pharmaceutical cGMP regulated environment.
SAP Plant Maintenance experience within a pharmaceutical cGMP regulated environment.
Scientific or technical qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Process Engineering or a related field.
Desirable:
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Understanding of change control process within a pharmaceutical cGMP regulated environment.
Relevant certifications in SAP or project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL)
