We have an exciting opportunity for a QC Analyst within the Sample Management team. This team operates within the QC Department and is a dynamic, fast-paced area experiencing continued year-on-year growth.

The Sample Management team is responsible for the coordination and management of sample materials from multiple sources, both into and out of the QC department. The team also has critical responsibilities for Reference Material and customised reagent inventory management within QC.

This hands-on role gaining key experiences in laboratory skills. Key responsibilities include the receipt, handling, and aliquoting of testing samples, as well as the management of QC sample inventory, including retain and reference materials. The role also involves responding to stakeholder requests for samples and reference materials, and planning and executing international shipments.



Roles and Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily team meetings and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

  • Perform aliquoting and preparation of samples in support of testing.

  • Support sample lifecycle management, including receipt, storage, distribution, and retention of samples. 

  • Maintain accurate inventory and traceability of QC samples, reference materials, and critical reagents.

  • Ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with SOPs, WIs, and applicable protocols, and in compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Receiving of raw materials into QC.

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define and improve quality standards.

  • Lead and support quality investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.

  • Prepare, review, and update GMP documentation to ensure compliance with current procedures and regulatory expectations. 

  • Consistently work towards achieving site performance metrics. Monitoring work processes and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements

  • Promote and maintain 6S standards within the laboratories. Support regulatory inspections and internal audits. 

  • Support process improvement initiative participating in continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Utilize laboratory systems such as eLIMS, SAP, SDMS.

  • Train and onboard new analysts. 



How to Succeed

  • A third-level qualification in a science-related discipline

  • Knowledge of laboratory sample management is preferred

  • Relevant industry experience in a GMP laboratory environment is essential
