roles and responsibilities

You will play a key role within the Regulatory Affairs team of Janssen PMP (https://www.janssenpmp.com/) supporting us mainly with Product Stewardship/Compliance. Your skills will be elemental to help our organisation record its compliance with regulations. This data is essential to answer regulatory questions from customers as well as from local or national authorities and agencies. The position reports to the Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist. As Regulatory Compliance Associate, your main tasks will include:

• Learn about our products and how regulations impact placing them on the market

• Develop and implement tools to record compliance with regulations, with focus on packaging

• Ensure our records are up-to-date and actions are followed up

• Interact with other functions within JPMP and external partners

• Support internal projects

• High level of IT skills: MSOffice365 package especially Excel and data management, SharePoint development and maintenance, databases, etc

• Analytical mindset

• Critical thinking

• Eye for detail while maintaining the bigger picture/interaction with other stakeholders

• Self-reliant after receiving the necessary training on company specific tools and processes

• Good communication skills

• Bachelor degree in scientific area preferably chemistry, biology, bio-engineering

• English & Dutch

• Experience/Interest in chemical regulatory environment and product stewardship
