Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is searching for a talented engineer to lead the implementation of laboratory automation. You will be at the forefront of integrating hardware and software solutions that streamline our research and development processes.

You will lead the implementation of laboratory automation and robotics for protein analytics.
This will involve:
Lead the implementation of laboratory automation and robotics for protein analytics. Develop and implement new software and hardware solutions for lab-specific automation applications. Establish proactive communication lines with other project teams and external partners. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding processes and projects. Work in multi-disciplinary teams with representatives from analytical, manufacturing, quality, and other functions. Contribute both individually and as part of a team to meet project and department objectives and timelines.

You are an analytical problem-solver with a passion for engineering and a desire to work in a highly regulated, innovative environment.
You will also bring:
BSc or MSc Degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation or System Engineering), Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in laboratory automation engineering, such as mobile robots or liquid handlers.
Familiarity with highly regulated industries and knowledge of medical standards (e.g., GMP, test specifications, FAT, SAT, Qualification processes: IQ, OQ) is an advantage.
Strong project management skills and excellent analytical abilities.
Experience in the manufacturing or design of electronic products is a plus. Knowledge of networks (e.g., TCP/IP, OPC), control/robotic systems, and programming skills (Matlab, Labview, C++, Python) is an advantage. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization software (R, Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
