The Bioanalytical Discovery and Development Sciences (BDDS) organization develops, validates, and conducts bioanalytical sample analysis across the entire J&J Innovative Medicines (JJIM) R&D portfolio from discovery through development. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Scientist to design and perform bioanalytical assays within BDDS for Johnson & Johnson discovery projects spanning different modalities and therapeutic areas. This laboratory-based position offers the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of innovative analytical methods using chromatographic techniques and mass spectrometry. roles and responsibilities.
Provide bioanalytical support for New Discovery Paradigm (NDP) activities and discovery studies that enable NDP
LC-MS bioanalysis of small molecules, peptides, ADCs and biologics
Perform project activities through hands-on data generation with the right level of quality, and use advanced software tools for data analysis
Conduct bioanalytical assays, manually as well as using robotic platforms, processing data, and preparing reports
Explore automation and software related solutions to increase workflows efficiency

A degree in analytical chemistry or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Proven expertise in mass spectrometry including technologies such as Triple Quadrupole and High-Resolution MS, is essential for this role
Hands-on experience in the use of liquid chromatography is required
Experience in different types of sample preparation techniques (SPE, LLE)
Proficiency with Mass Spectrometry and other data analysis software (e.g. Excel, Prism, SciexOS,...)
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Strong motivation to quickly learn new skills
