Aim of the position - Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a scientist with experience culturing pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and using CRISPR genome editing technologies. The candidate will mainly support neuroscience drug discovery programs and will be involved in a pooled CRISPR screen with single cell RNA-sequencing read-out (Perturb-seq) in iPSC-derived neurons.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Who we are looking for
4+ years hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
Cell line engineering using gene editing techniques (CRISPR/Cas systems)
Standard cellular and molecular biology techniques, including transfections, viral transductions, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Quantitative Reverse Transcription PCR (RT-qPCR), western blotting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills

PhD in cell biology, molecular, genetics or related biological life science
Skills & Competences
Experience with assay development and high-throughput screening
Experience with single-cell RNA sequencing
Background in neurodegenerative disease
