Working mode: Hybrid, minimum 1 day per week on-site in Beerse
Language requirements: English (Dutch is a plus)
Hours: 32-40 hours per week (80%-100%)

Within R&D, Therapeutics Development and Supply (TDS) is currently looking for a senior business and data analyst to join our Data Integration and Predictive Technology group within the chemical manufacturing and controls area of pharmaceutical development. In this role, you will support our ambitious data strategy roadmap to centralize data from scientific sources into our R&D Data Lake by applying FAIR data principles to transform this data through aggregation and curation into system agnostic data blocks, enabling visualizations and data analytics.
roles and responsibilities
Analyse and document the functional requirements for data ingestion and aggregation, providing input for the development activities
Create new data curation requests based on functional use cases
Review and test the ingested and curated data logic to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Conduct investigations into data-related issues to identify the underlying root cause
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data contextualization needs
Support our data engineering team delivering high quality data enhancements
Maintain a data catalogue
Refine the current data transformation workflows
how to succeed
Proven experience in business and data analysis, preferably in the chemical manufacturing and controls area of pharmaceutical development
Ability to quickly understand complex business processes and translating them in suitable solutions
Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of advanced SQL and experience with data wrangling
Detail-oriented problem solver who is well organized, with an ability to work collaboratively and remotely in a fast-changing environment
Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence to facilitate project coordination and documentation
Preferred knowledge of Snowflake, Datacoves, DBT, BitBucket and data catalog (Alation)
Familiarity with the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data guiding principles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus
