Imagine your next role as a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of electrical systems across our operations.
You will lead the long-term strategy for electrical systems and capacity, manage system improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimal functioning of electrical infrastructure during the implementation of new assets.
Main Responsibilities
Oversee the electrical systems across multiple locations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance
Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies for electrical systems, including replacement investments (business case/need statement)
Act as a core team member in projects, providing expertise and support for electrical systems, but not leading projects directly
Ensure systems meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Manage system documentation, including technical specifications and maintenance records
Support projects to ensure the maintainability of the installation, providing input and assistance
Act as the primary point of contact for electrical system-related queries in projects from a maintenance perspective
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
HBO working and thinking level, with a focus on Electrical Engineering / Maintenance or a related field
Extensive experience in managing electrical systems in industrial or regulated environments (Process, Pharma, etc.)
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of electrical systems
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., NEN, ISO)
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
Ability to lead initiatives, manage system improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience in managing system documentation and working with contractors is a plus
Hands-on experience with electrical assets
GMP experience is a plus
NEN3140 VP certification is a plus
