Senior IT Analyst/Software Engineer - CORK

The Project:
Experienced OSIsoft PI Engineer required to work on data projects (Manufacturing Execution Systems). The ideal candidate will have experience in OSIsoft Data Historian Systems, Control Systems and software development. A preference would be for candidates with software engineering experience and knowledge of working within a regulated Pharma or Medical Device industry.
The Role:
€40-45 p/h
- Initially 12 month contract with high likelihood of extension
- Remote- However, must be able to attend site approximately 3 times per month (Cork)
- Must have OSI PI experience
Professional Experience Required:
5 years+ experience with OSI PI software system implementation and maintenance
OSIsoft trained and certified (PI System Administration)
Relational database experience, developing stored procedures in an Oracle environment. SQL Server experience will also be considered
VB scripting, JavaScript, HTML, MS Project and/ or Visio
Writing user requirements, functional specifications and test plan documentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Other Requirements:
SQL Server Reporting and Analysis services.
PI Event Frames and PI Batch setup and configuration
OSIsoft PI Tag / AF creation and maintenance
Experience with PLC and DCS-based control systems/building management systems
Maintain and Improve Notifications and PB/Vision Displays
User Support as a PI SME
Works independently and/or within team to accomplish job objectives
Design and develop moderately complex data conversions and interfaces
Strong documentation skills are essential in this role
