Currently we are looking for a Site Lead for 1 year to start ASAP.

Purpose:
The site lead is responsible for base business supply of commercial Small Molecule products. The role leads Drug Substance Custom Manufacturers to ensure that products are available to meet customer needs, provide the highest quality at the lowest total cost of ownership, and achieve maximum relationship value through accelerated innovation, supplier integration, process improvement, and teamwork. 
The external relationships are sophisticated in nature and require extensive interaction with key business partners, supplier leadership, and other segment/functional leadership. 
The role acts as Virtual General Manager for assigned relationships, providing oversight for all activities and leads virtual cross-functional teams including Quality, TechOps, Procurement, Planning and Finance to drive robust performing sites. 

Main Responsibilities:
- Shape external network & strategy, Influence, and support Janssen Supply Chain strategy by providing input on the external landscape related to partners and CMOs. Benchmark other J&J and partner companies and industries to identify innovations, continuous improvement, and outstanding processes to support PES and business development initiatives. Deeply understand and communicate evolving market opportunities
- Assess partners' capacity and capabilities to support sourcing initiatives. Lead partner assessment and new product implementation in a cross-functional team, including site visits. Define technology transfer expectations and supply strategy with partners.
- Serve as Virtual General Manager for the assigned partners and lead JNJ cross-functional teams in partner management, providing oversight of all activities and financials. Establish and maintain performance metrics and targets with the goal of improving supply, processes, and systems and eliminating inefficiencies regarding supply, compliance, finance, and strategy. Partner with procurement in negotiations and ensure accurate functional inputs. Align cross-functional team to stay in sync with agreements, as well as overall cost management including seeking cost reduction opportunities. Define and prioritize requirements, expectations, results and partner needs between Janssen Suppky Chain and partner. Develop and handle Account Plans and lead the team in delivering on all objectives.
- Project management of new product launches and other product changes at partners to ensure timely product availability. Define appropriate actions when key issues remain unresolved.

Qualifications:
-   A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required; Masters or other advanced degrees are preferred.
-   8+ experience in the areas of both general manufacturing (pharma Drug Substance, or other similarly regulated industries) and business management (business development, procurement, value chain management).
-   Profound knowledge on API manufacturing is a must.
-   Knowledge of functions like Quality, Technical Operations, Finance, Planning and Procurement.
-   Understanding end-to-end supply chain considerations and methods of driving continuous improvement.
-   Demonstrated experience in developing and working with negotiated agreements.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-   High level proficiency leading supplier relationships
-   High level of credibility with internal customers, and within the external manufacturing supply chain community
-   Strong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints; zoom-in / zoom-out
-   Proven track record leading cross-functional teams
-   Demonstrated flexibility to respond to changes in the external and internal environments
-   General Manager supply chain experience is a plus
