Site Project Manager - Hamburg Germany 

Location: Norderstedt - Hamburg (onsite 100%)

Duration: 12 months (possible extension thereafter)

Imagine your next project, working for Johnson & Johnson onsite in Hamburg as Site Project Manager.

The project includes planning, procurement, installation and commissioning of security-hardware in our Norderstedt-Campus, including CCTV, card readers, physical access systems for pedestrians and vehicles, locks, fencing, window protection and alarm systems. 

There are several interfaces that need to be managed, including workers’ council, production areas, contractor companies (Fritsche, Sodexo, Spie) and internal / external stakeholders (Site Management, E&PS-Management, local construction authority). 

The project has a relatively high reporting- & communication-workload. 

roles and responsibilities - The role of Site Project Manager will include: 

• Project Management for the project in question incl. management of budget, schedule, interfaces, stakeholders, risks, reporting, prime contractor, etc.

• Knowledge on project management incl budget, schedule, stakeholder and resource management and effective communication (in German and English) are the main requirements. Preferable are knowledge and experience in security systems, electrical infrastructure, mechanical works. (We need a project manager, not a construction manager)

how to succeed

As an experienced Site Project Manager you will need to demonstrate solid contract management, hands-on operational, security measures, stakeholder management and reporting skills.

 You will also bring:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in site management, security, contract management, reporting, stakeholder in a Project Management capacity

• Experience / working knowledge of managing Brownfield projects

• Experience of management of prime contractors / tenders / subcontractors

• Speak fluent German & English
