Senior Analyst - External Manufacturing
Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 39 hours per week. Hybrid (3 days on-site)

roles and responsibilities
Primary responsibility includes the generation of inputs and analytics that enable the planning and tactical procurement of finished goods. This includes the alignment of planned receipts with supplier delivery, the identification and quantification of service risk based on the vendor delivery schedule, and the consolidation and preparation of information for integration into various Plan and Supplier Management processes.
Each analyst is also expected to help facilitate the resolution of both short-term and structural issues with multiple suppliers and DPS support functions for finished goods, packaging, and sterilization. This role’s scope will cover inventory planning, cost optimization analysis, rough-cut capacity planning, vendor-specific site level planning, vendor performance measurement, and oversight of the PO lifecycle.
This will involve:
Responsible for supporting EMSI function to enable the seamless integration of EM supply
As representative of DPS, ensure the EM has the necessary information to deliver quality products consistently and on-time. This includes the implementation and closure of supplier change orders (SCR) and other required documentation
Monitor and develop EM key performance indicators (KPI’s) such as leadtime, on-time delivery, backorder, S&OP attainment, SCR closure, and risk composite score
Support the development and implementation of proactive risk mitigation activities with both the EM and their extended supply chain partners
Represent EM to internal stakeholders as part of the STEM (short-term event management) and Supply Chain Launch Readiness processes to prioritize & manage the resolution of supply issues
Develop tools and approaches for analysis and review of supply plans, including the generation and transformation of data from ERP / Planning systems into actionable information
Monitor and escalate tactical procurement risks/challenges (PO to Goods Receipt)
Facilitate hand-off of supplier planning outputs / parameters that are used to generate global supply requirements and Regional service commitments
Support the Supplier Risk Management program via analytics and insights to ensure mid and long-term business, customer, and patient requirements are met
Provide input into the DPS EM supply S&OP process
Illuminate supply network constraints and propose actions and trade-off decisions consistent with business priorities
Translate DPS net requirements into attainable supply plans for EM products
how to succeed
You will have a broad-based understanding of business operations and practices. You will have strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to confidently present complex information to stakeholders. You will also bring:
BA/BS degree in a Business-related field of study, Supply Chain, Data Sciences or Engineering field is required
4-6 years of direct experience within Planning or Production Scheduling, preferably within the medical device industry is required
Manufacturing operations and supply chain experience.
Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration.
Able to prioritize requests,and propose effective customer service alternatives.
Ability to show judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues.
Project management skills.
