Duration: 12 months (opportunity for a contract extension)

Imagine your next project as Supply Chain Product Coordinator. The Supply Chain Product Coordinator is a GS1 subject matter expert and is responsible for leading execution of material master data activities resulting in timely, accurate and meaningful governance and adherence within the In Market organization. 

The role will manage the code lifecycle from creation to deactivation of finished goods, co-packed items, POS and packaging materials. The role has accountability for coordinating the workflow among key stakeholders, approvers and data originators and in accordance with GS1/business rules and specific market policies, to ensure 'On-Time' data quality and accuracy. They will collect and collate end to end alignment/communication of master data with the wider business.

The Supply Chain Product Coordinator will also provide ad hoc support to the Product Lifecycle Lead when required to assist in the execution of business priorities.


roles and responsibilities

  • As GS1 Subject matter expert, provide guidance to the business on the interpretation and implementation of business data standards and GS1 rules e.g. Version or Root Code Change or Soft/Hard Switch

  • Manage and Execute the code lifecycle of finished and co-packed goods, POS and packaging materials, from creation and modification to deactivation and communicating the code once available through supply chain, PLM and/or commercial business (Product Change Tracker, TopCat Workflow, Co-Pack Tool, askPLM App)

  • Drive GS1 governance and adherence at regional level, e.g. by means of forum and/or regional network of Masterdata Analysts 

  • (attend the IMSC Data Check Ins and provide input and share output)

  • Provide single point of contact to local business regarding data quality and accuracy and Conduct review of measures to address data errors and any discrepancies

    (Customer requests for packaging waste data, COSHH, WEEE, Commodity codes etc)

  • Ensures master data deliverables are done on time and on specification in business projects

  • Obtains missing Certificate of Analysis upon request from the 3PLs

  • Maintains Serialization Product Master Data and Serialization Flag in collaboration with the Regulatory and Quality teams.

  • Maintains Selfcare Packaging changes administrative responsibilities. Ongoing maintenance in collaboration with regional and local network. Support in preparation for internal and external audits.

  • Creates and maintains regular and ad hoc Supply Chain Purchase Orders, making Goods Receipts and maintenance of PO reports.

  • Provides ad hoc support to the Product Lifecycle Lead on key business priorities, such as Windsor Framework and Brand NPD launches


how to succeed

Education:   

  • University Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain


Experience:  

  • Supply chain master data in global regulated component manufacturing industry, preferably medical device or pharmaceutical planning

  • Familiarity with relevant legislation – e.g. GMP, Brexit

  • Cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment


Knowledge, Skills and capabilities:   

  • Ability to apply project and personal leadership to successfully achieve project, team and individual goals

  • Ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers. Coach others when appropriate.

  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspectives and styles.

  • Ability to target communications as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small to medium sized audience.

  • Ability to influence others in an agile environment

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would enhance speed of results and productivity or quality &/or Ability to work with Continuous Improvement tools.

  • Demonstrated proficient user of SAP or other leading planning tools

  • Demonstrated aptitude for diagnostics and problem-solving, training and oral and written communications
