Location: Leeds - Hybrid working - Minimum 3 / 4 days a week on site
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 37 per week
Imagine your next project working as a Supply Planner for DePuy Sythnes, Leeds! This position will report to the PP&L Planning Manager and have production planning responsibility for Hips & Knees.
roles and responsibilities
Oversee planning activities such as converting net requirements (NRP) into production plans to support high levels of customer service, optimal distribution center inventory and incorporate effective contingencies for risks and initiatives
Monitor over and under consumption and reset plan as required. Challenge significant swings with demand team as appropriate
Maintain weekly capacity plan for manufacturing areas aligned with forecasted demand from customers. Gain commitment from Ops team leaders to the plan
Monitor manufacturing output weekly and ensuring plan agreed is adhered to. Challenge failures to hit plan and mediate solutions with the Ops team to avoid customer impact. Ensure timely escalation of issues where they cannot be addressed directly
Responsible for managing finished goods, raw materials and WIP inventory levels on site
Responsible for planning, implementing, and initiating activities on projects related to Supply Chain to ensure project deliverable dates and scope are met
Lead, monitor, assess and communicate risks on key Supply Chain projects, providing regular updates to senior management
Ensure compliance with current regulatory standards and guidelines (Financial, EHS and Quality Assurance)
E2E focus: assist in the development and execution of continuous improvement plans, cost reduction and performance management aligned with JJPS & JJOS standards
Build sustainable partnerships with key supply chain partners (NPI, Commercial, Product Management, GSC)
Responsible for following all company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable
Perform other duties assigned as needed

Essential:
ERP/planning systems experience; able to execute in an ERP System
Problem solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Strong organization skills and aptitude for planning
Proven ability to interact with other functions on projects that involve collaboration with cross-functional peers and senior management
Ability to develop communications that are properly structured providing clear, concise messages that draw well supported conclusions
Must be proactive, self-motivated, and have a demonstrated ability to follow assignments through to completion
Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions
Able to work with limited supervision
Desirable:
Relevant Supply Chain experience
Knowledge of and experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
Working knowledge of financial processes
