Job Summary:


 

The Supply Senior System Analyst is a key role providing end to end support for network planning and system integration in our distribution network. Provides analytical and technical support, problem solves system issues, master data and identifies areas of improvement. 


 

Duties and Responsibilities:


 

Technical skills:

  • Have excellent understanding of SC planning signals – inventory, production, procurement, demand, in transits, stock transfers
  • Have fair understanding of configurations in source ERPs on SC planning processes. Example (but not limited to) – MRP type, safety stock/ROP, lot size etc
  • Have hands on experience in SAP ECC, SAP APO
  • Be aware of nuances of environments having Non-SAP ERPs (eg. JDE) and bespoke middlewares (including integration patterns – real time, batch etc).
  • Be well versed with SC planning concepts. Examples (but not limited to) – deployment, planning books, forecast release, supply/demand profiles, capacity levelling, quota arrangements, fair share rules etc
  • Manage Inbound freight escalations and identify system root cause leading resolution. 
  • Ensure SAP APO Parameters and indicators are effectively set/ managed, through collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate master, regulatory and transactional data in relative systems.
  • Actively participate in the Global Control Tower platforms, including but not limited to root causing, corrective actions, A3 problem solving for your given site/sites.
  • Ensure SAP APO Parameters and indicators are effectively set/ managed, through collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Assume Core team member responsibilities during new product introductions to facilitate supply chain readiness and oversee the launch activities




 

Soft skills:

  • Be able to understand business impact with technical issues and hence assign appropriate level of urgency to issue
  • Be able to drive the resolution of issues through technical teams and ensure root cause is well documented by tech teams
  • Be able to drive weekly/monthly metrics to assess the volume of technical issues and drive improvement plans for repeat issues
  • be able to articulate before business IT’s plan to resolve issues and discuss temporary corrective measures to subside business impacts.
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills (business and IT), able to work in moving priorities and drive improvement measures with servant – leader mindset.
  • Other business requirements as required by management 



 

Experience and Education:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years related experience
  • MRP/ERP (SAP APO, SAP ECC, JDE) systems concept knowledge
  • Data mining / reporting skills
  • Excel and data visualisation tools
  • Experience within the a regulated industry 
  • Experience in presenting trade off decisions


 

Desirable:

  • Degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics or Operations 
  • Production planning or manufacturing experience in medical device or pharma industry
  • Alteryx or Advanced Excel, Power BI
  • Green belt six-sigma certification
  • APICS Certification
  • Data visualisation creation experience



 

Location and Travel requirements


 

  • Primary location is Cork Ireland with onsite working 3 days on site
  • May require 10% travel
