Systems Analyst 

Location: Beerse, Belgium  (3 days office, 2 days home working)

Contract till: December 2024 

The Role:

The Janssen Supply Group, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Lab Systems Analyst, reporting into QC Operations. 

The position will support the deployment and maintenance of the digitalization/automation project for the J&J labs (iLABs).  The laboratory mission is to increase lab reliability through automation of processes and reduction in manual transcription of data, improved electronic control and data capture, delivering Data Integrity and Efficiency value using global lab systems and interfaces.


Key Responsibilities

  • Main responsibility for the position is to support enhancements to the different Lab Systems (eLIMS, empower (where needed))

  • Gathers user requirements from the site as applicable 

  • Supports IT in user story writing

  • Perform Proof of Concept testing for newly created functionality when applicable.

  • Creates test scripts based on the URS and executes UAT when applicable. 

  • Supports/organizes test script execution. 

  • Supports / organize updates to the documents (Procedures/Work instructions/….)

  • Owns Instance compliance / change control if applicable 

  • Coordinate standardization discussions if applicable

  • Acts as a single point of contact across sites if applicable

  • Leads user forums and meetings as required

  • Leads site implementations as needed

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree required, Physical / Life Sience, IT focus preferred.  An advanced degree preferred. 

  • 5+ years of related experience including at least one of the following: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Analytical Testing, or IT, including experience working in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.  

  • Strong communication, partnering and organizational skills. 

  • Strong problem solving, logical thinking and troubleshooting skills. 


Skills and capabilities:

  • Broad knowledge and experience with cGMPs, regulations, risk management and Computer System Validation.  

  • Knowledge with LIMS systems is desirable.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple issues, prioritize and escalate to management when appropriate. 

  • Ability to develop training and deliver to colleagues and partners. 

  • Fluent in English.  

  • Ability to build and nurture strong, positive relationships with customers and partners in IT and Quality is required.
