Project description

The Pharma R&D ITSM Tool - Technical Analysis and Solution Design project focuses on the pivotal role of a Technical Analyst in translating business requirements into user stories and serving as a solution expert throughout the design process. The objective is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation within the ServiceNow ITSM Modules, ensuring that the developed solutions align seamlessly with the specific demands of pharmaceutical research and development initiatives.


roles and responsibilities

  • Requirement Translation: Collaborating closely with business analyst to capture, understand, and translate their requirements into detailed and comprehensive user stories. Ensuring that these stories encapsulate the nuanced needs of Pharma R&D processes.

  • User Story Definition: Creating clear, concise, and actionable user stories that serve as the foundational building blocks for the development team. These stories should capture the essence of business requirements and guide the development process.

  • Technical Analysis: Conducting in-depth technical analysis of business requirements to define the most effective and efficient solutions. This involves assessing existing systems, proposing enhancements, and aligning solutions with industry best practices.

  • Solution Expertise: Acting as a key solution expert during the design process, providing insights into the technical feasibility and implications of various design choices. Collaborating with developers to ensure that the proposed solutions meet both business and technical criteria.

  • Collaboration with Development Team: Working closely with the development team to communicate requirements, address queries, and facilitate a smooth transition from business requirements to technical implementation. Ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and objectives.


how to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree Bachelor’s degree (University degree) in information technology or computer science

  • In-Depth knowledge of coding languages including proficiency in Javascript 

  • Experience working with ServiceNow Technologies

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITSM principles

  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical development processes and global clinical operations, 

  • Good knowledge of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Compliance is required

  • ITIL Framework experience & certification preferred 

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as the MS Office suite is required 

  • Detail oriented 

  • Experience in working in a global environment is required 

  • Strong communicator both written and verbal is required 

  • Able to operate with a minimum of supervision
