roles and responsibilities

To provide support for Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) procedure updates and other documentation activities to ensure that all activities associated with document updates and support tasks are completed in a fully compliant manner in accordance with the requirements of Johnson & Johnson document management policies and procedures. Responsible for managing electronic document control workflows for new documents and document changes to the electronic document management system (TruVault)for E&PS documents. The role requires collaboration with various functions within E&PS. This will involve: 

• Responsible for managing workflow submissions on document changes to the electronic document management system (TruVault)

• Responsible for managing the Periodic Review Procedure Process in line with governing procedures

• Prepares custom reports supporting the document control process and document control metrics

• Supports document control continuous improvement activities

• Perform technical writing, research, and related editing activities to prepare standards, guidelines, work instructions, presentations, and other written materials. 

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of the technical documentation. 

• Ensure all documents are authorized and appropriate approvals are gained.

• Works independently and/or within team to accomplish job objectives. 

• Suggest and sometimes may implement innovation and continuous improvement within the technical writing and document change control process 

• Builds cross functional and cross-departmental support, fostering overall effectiveness

how to succeed

You will be self driven and will have the ability to work on your own initiative and will have excellent organisational skills You will also bring:

• Relevant experience in Technical Writing

• A Certificate in Quality Assurance or other related discipline with a broad technical/educational skills base

• Proficient in Microsoft office packages of Word, Excel and Power Point and electronic document management systems.

• Understanding of workflows, quality documents Technical Writing terminology

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month period and has a strong chance of extension. This role is fully remote with flexible working hours.
