Training Manager
Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 39 hours per week
Pay rate range: Competitive hourly rate (PAYE, Umbrella and Ltd options available)
This position is responsible for managing Training at the Biologics site in Ringaskiddy. This includes but is not limited to:
General Activities
Manage all activities within the Training Department in compliance with corporate, cGMP, EHS, and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all activities within the Training function are planned and executed to meet business needs.
Providing leadership and direction to colleagues within the Training function.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and open communication.
Ensure that personnel are trained to support activities in line with business needs.
GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead by example and strive to perform to high standards at all times in compliance with Credo and Standards of Leadership.
Responsible and accountable for assuring the safe accomplishment of job activities in Training and following good environmental practices and procedures.
Provide leadership and direction to colleagues within the Training function to ensure that goals, targets and expectations are defined & communicated clearly.
Respond to all concerns/issues raised by colleagues in an appropriate and timely manner.
Monitor training metrics/KPIs to ensure that departmental goals and targets are met and issues impacting metrics are addressed.
Promote a culture of learning & development and open communication across the site.
Support and lead as required talent & leadership development initiatives.
Recognize and respond to sources of change and manage change effectively.
Ensuring that colleagues within the Training function are provided with appropriate training to perform their assigned duties to meet the business needs and regulatory requirements.
Ensure that documentation standards within Operations are maintained to a very high standard of GMP readiness.
Management/Scheduling of defined Training activities to meet site requirements.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL
Third level qualification in Science, Engineering or Training related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated Operations environment.
Experience in supervision/management of people and resources.
DESIRABLE
Operations experience within a Life sciences or biopharmaceutical environment
Experience of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Project Management training and experience
Experience of SUMMIT and other business systems
Experience of GMP Documentation Systems
