The JJT Technology Services Development Center in Limerick are currently seeking an Angular Developer to join our team. We develop, design and deliver high quality business applications, software solutions and services to meet J&J business technology requirements. It is an open and highly collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on continuous integration, automated testing and continuous delivery. Scrum teams are encouraged to be self-organising and autonomous.

the role

The successful candidate will be working on a greenfield project to completely re-write an existing critical platform for our Ethicon Medtech division. The platform, Thunderbird, is a labelling system for surgical sutures. This new version will deployed to the cloud (Azure) on a .NET stack with an Angular front-end.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work effectively with teams.

• Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.

• Comfortable in bringing improvements and suggestions to the team and challenging designs and approaches when better alternatives are possible.

how to succeed

• Angular 14 or above

• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components

• Material UI

• Typescript

• Angular Unit Testing/Code Coverage with SonarQube

• NPM

• Docker

• SQL Data Structures

• Git/BitBucket Requirements

• 5 + years’ experience as a Developer

• Possess an understanding of Agile development methodologies

• Qualifications: BSc. or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
