The Testing Service is organized in service delivery, service organization and service strategy. The EMEA Service Specialist is a key role in the service delivery of the Testing Service. You report to and work closely with the Regional Service Owner to ensure the testing service works in a correct and efficient way. The Regional Service Owner focusses on the service organization and service strategy.
Your responsibilities and your Impact:
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for the operational service delivery of the service in line with the service organization (demand management, financial management, forecasting, onboarding onto project, monitor progress...)
Responsible for end to end delivery oversight in collaboration with the vendors.
Collaborate with customer and assess demand to deliver estimates and quotes
Execute and follow up on team allocation with the selected vendor partners
Execute the governance of selected vendor partners for the service from a resourcing, financial, delivery and quality perspective
Collaborate with the vendors for service continuity (shadow resourcing, manage knowledge transfer,?) and service quality
Execute corrective actions if the project data is going above or below the control limits established and ensure necessary actions are defined and execute.
Steer the implementation of standardization on the level of testing tools and processes, both manual and automated
Service Organization
Responsible to ensure operational processes are properly documented for re-use and backup arrangements
Contribute to improving the service organization and the service strategy by proposing and implementing service improvements under supervision of the Global and Regional Service Owner
Roll up EMEA Testing Service metrics across application development projects; ensuring short and long-term goals are met by the project teams on time and within budget, providing guidance where required
Be a partner with the project team(s) to collect the data for the identified metrics per project's defined process and provide analysis of those metrics; logging this data to the organization's metrics repository after the review and analysis
Service Quality
Ensure approved software development standards, processes and procedures are adhered to for the assigned projects
Track and analyze quality goals and objectives for the assigned projects
Monitors and reports on the quality of the service delivery (ie. appreciations, success stories, surveys, ..)
Major Duties
30 % Financial management (statement of works and financial control)
20 % vendor alignment (weekly status meetings, delivery status, resource process?)
15 % test resources and test profession interactions
10 % Service Owner alignment (daily, escalations, monthly checks, ?)
10 % Stakeholder client alignment (governance meetings, calls, forecasting ?)
10 % Improvements (proof of concepts, surveys, power automate, reporting, ..)
5 % various
Education and Experience Required for Role
Essential:
7+ years of related work experience required, with 3 years in highly mature large enterprise organizations preferred.
Experience in developing and delivering IT services in large complex enterprises required.
You must be able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively
Ability to work independently on the Service Delivery in a structured way
You have a background in software testing and test automation environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
You are able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others with little supervision
Proven ability to lead and influence others at all levels within the organization
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor in Computer Science
ISTQB, TMap or TPI Certification
PowerBi, PowerAutomate is a plus
