Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork

Working mode: Hybrid (3-4 days initially, once establishes 2 days per week on-site)

Duration: 12 months

The Global   Supply Chain Customer Service Planner role is a key supply chain role, to provide world   class customer service to our Direct & Affiliate OUS markets for the Joints Business Group.

roles and responsibilities

  • Provide world-class customer service to OUS Markets for the Joints Business Group, covering implants, replenishment, and investment.

  • Perform timely and accurate order entry, expedite backorders/backlogs, coordinate priority allocation, and resolve sales/delivery issues.

  • Ensure effective planning, including timely placement and expediting of Purchase Orders (POs), resolving PO discrepancies, and managing stock queries with the warehouse.

  • Manage inventory in line with GSC targets, taking action to minimize excess stock, and approving in-market returns.

  • Investigate and communicate updates on critical supply issues.

  • Review inventory and ROP (Reorder Point) levels regularly.

  • Drive continuous and lean process improvements.

  • Coordinate New Product Introductions/Rationalisation Plans as an integral member of Int’l Project Core Teams.

  • Lead market service reviews, performance analysis, and represent market supply needs in the Sales & Operations and STEM Planning Process.

  • Proactively manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like OTIF and Backorder metrics.

  • Support, Lead, and implement Company projects for the ISG department.

  • Minimize Environmental and Health & Safety effects of work and adhere to company procedures.


how to succeed

  • Minimum Experience: 2 years in Customer Service.

  • Essential Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and clear, effective communication with internal and external customers.

  • Desirable Experience/Knowledge: Medical Device industry experience, knowledge of JDE Edwards (8.12), XE, and SAP / APO software applications, and a Foreign Language.

  • Work Style: Ability to work independently, adapt to a leadership role when required, and work well under pressure.

  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and strong system skills/ability.
