Imagine your next project supporting a critical Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system transition while navigating a complex transformation across an international team.

The Data & Business Readiness Analyst collects, cleans, analyses, and validates data to support business decisions and delivery of the PLM transformation. The role provides reporting and insights while supporting the Supply Chain function in data segregation, migration, testing, preparation for SAFe ceremonies and other required program documentation.

roles and responsibilities

• Assisting with data migration and mapping between old and new PLM systems, preparing for business simulation testing and UAT, and gathering requirements across a cross-functional international team (Switzerland and East Coast US).

• Collect, clean, validate, reconcile, and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities.

• Translate business questions into analytical requirements, data definitions, KPIs, and practical recommendations.

• Monitor data quality and coordinate resolution of accuracy, completeness, consistency, and ownership issues.

• Communicate findings clearly through concise reports, presentations, and data storytelling.

• Review, categorize, organize, and track data and documents according to defined business, quality, regulatory, privacy, and migration requirements.

• Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Business Process Owners, and subject matter experts to confirm scope, classification, ownership, disposition, and migration readiness.

• Maintain data inventories, segregation trackers, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, cleansing plans, and decision records.

• Support migration activities including profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, cutover preparation, and post-migration support.

• Create, review and maintain test scripts for data validation, system testing, reporting accuracy, UAT, and process verification.

• Document preconditions, test data, expected outcomes, actual results, evidence, defects, and traceability to requirements.

• Provide coordination and administrative support for Supply Chain business simulation testing (BST), deployment readiness, cutover, and hyper care.

• Support defect triage, retesting, evidence collection, issue follow-up, and closure with accountable owners.

how to succeed

• Prior data migration experience, PLM familiarity, and a strong understanding of supply chain design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, data quality, data migration, business analysis, or program support.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar visualization tools.

• Experience supporting PLM, ERP, quality-system, or enterprise transformation initiatives is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving, and commitment to data accuracy and traceability.

• Understanding of data governance, segregation, migration, validation, reconciliation, privacy, and controlled documentation.

• Ability to create structured test scripts, define expected outcomes, capture evidence, and support defect resolution.

• Clear communication, facilitation, reporting, and data-storytelling skills across business and technical audiences.

• Ability to manage priorities, maintain accurate documentation, meet deadlines, and work effectively across functions.

• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe delivery, business requirements, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, Confluence, or Jira is preferred.

• Convert complex data into reliable insights, ensure data is appropriately segregated and migration-ready, and provide clear visibility of quality, progress, risks, and readiness.

• Enable the project Supply Chain and delivery teams through accurate documentation, disciplined follow-up, and effective support of SAFe planning and delivery activities.
