Location: High Wycombe - Hybrid working, 3 days a week on site

Duration: 6 to 9 months with chance of extension 

Hours: 40 hours a week

Pay rate range: Depending on experience

Imagine your next project, working as a Data Engineer for Johnson &  Johnson. We are recruiting for contractor to develop and build data pipelines for our UK operating company located in our High Wycombe office. Reporting to the Customer Data and Analytics Lead you will work with DBT / snowflake to provide business users with data feeds for automate reports and analytical tools.

roles and responsibilities

• Development of ELT solutions, both new and migration of existing pipelines.

• Organizing structured data to feed automated reporting solutions. 

• Collaborate closely with a range of stakeholders within Business Intelligence and Customer Data and Analytics teams to created automated data feeds.

• Collaborate closely with Customer Data & Analytics Lead to input into the automated analytics delivery plan.

• Collaborate closely with the EMEA teams to ensure best practices are followed and shared.

how to succeed

• Strong understanding of data modelling/ architecture techniques.

• Strong technical capabilities and experience including SQL, Snowflake, DBT, Python.  Dataiku experience a plus.

• Understanding of data visualization applications preferably Qlik and Tableau.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams.

• Confidence to present and engage with senior partners.

• Experience working in Data within a pharmaceutical company or an agency delivering projects to pharmaceutical companies an advantage.

• Good level of knowledge and understanding of the UK healthcare environment, pharmaceutical distribution channels and associated data sources an advantage.
