The UK Supply Chain team partners with 3 Johnson & Johnson Franchises of the MedTech Business – DePuy Synthes, Ethicon & CSS. We help UK healthcare professionals treat patients in general surgery, orthopaedics, and interventional solutions, changing the trajectory of health for humanity.


roles and responsibilities

This role will drive development & administration of the digital world within MedTech Supply Chain UK, accelerating innovations to systems and provide critical data analysis that drives process improvements collaboratively across the function. You should challenge the status quo: leading and participating in improvement projects that will enable our commercial teams to partner more optimally with end user customers – ensuring more patients are treated with our life changing and market leading products. This will involve: 

  • Create integrated reporting dashboard to provide supply chain with one source of truth for all supply chain metrics including financial impacts partnering with finance

  • Identify, recommend & implement initiatives to drive Automation & Self-Service 

  • Data mining & insights aggregation, crafting proactive initiatives to improve Supply Chain efficiency & effectiveness 

  • Support local development & implementation of any new analytical capabilities

  • Administration of reporting, system issue resolution & major problem solving.

  • Collaborate with peers across end-to-end supply chain to benchmark & network


how to succeed

You will have a high learning agility & desire to learn new skills/tools/methodologies,a can do - growth mindset and be adaptable and open to try new things to challenge the status quo and inspire change. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to optimally work with and empower partners and colleagues to contribute ideas, find opportunities, and contribute to positive outcomes. You will also bring:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field preferred

  • Deep Knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI (including MQuery & Dax)

  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power Query, KNIME/Alteryx)

  • Proven Experience & Expertise with automation programs/concepts (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Experience using Python or R software: development of machine learning algorithm

  • Demonstrable experience as an Analytics Specialist or Data Scientist[CYW2]



Details

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 3 months. Option for hybrid working available.
