The Project:
Ensures development projects and programs meet customer and company requirements by providing technical project leadership across functional boundaries for different phases of product development and transfer programs. Researches and resolves special business and technical issues.
Responsible for leading a cross functional team in the achievement of project objectives through management of supply chain and manufacturing activities.
The Role:
- 12 Month Contract (Likelihood of extension)
- £30- 40 p/h PAYE
- Hybrid- Leeds
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops project scope and objectives.
- Establishes and tracks critical milestones, timelines and contingency plans.
- Follows up throughout the project process to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Collaborates with planning, scheduling and manufacturing personnel to ensure effective customer service throughout the supply chain.
- Gather data to formulate project plans and objectives.
- Seeks out continuous improvement opportunities and oversees timely implementation of efficient manufacturing practices.
- Identifies and implements potential cost savings and project execution improvements.
- Participates in quality system reviews and development of systems to improve compliance.
- Integrates manufacturing, packaging and distribution capabilities.
- Manages project team activities during project implementation.
- Directs communication of project status, milestones, timelines, and budget to management
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or science subject, with 4 years’ experience in a relevant technical area.
- Project Management
- Good communication skills with people at all levels.
- Able to handle the demands of a focused product development group.
- Engineering project management
- Communication and presentation skills

In return for this role you will receive a very competitive hourly rate. A minimum 12 month contract & an opportunity to work with a Global Leader within the Pharmaceutical sector, Johnson & Johnson.
