Johnson & Johnson Worksense (via Randstad Sourceright) is responsible for finding, engaging and contracting talent for the Johnson & Johnson contingent workforce.

 

We are currently recruiting a EU MDR Planner to join our contingent workforce on a growing team in Vision Care in Limerick for an initial 12 month contract. 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, performs the provisioning function for the manufacturing floor.
  • Maintains and interprets the Material Requirements Planning System on a daily and weekly basis and creates Maintains Purchase Orders with specific suppliers. 
  • Primary Tasks and Responsibilities Maintains day-to-day interactions with production floor. 
  • Conduct excess and obsolete inventory reviews for Raw Materials and Components. 
  • Maintains Day to day interaction with Suppliers and confirm purchase orders as applicable. 
  • Interprets Material Requirements Planning (MRP) requirements and release/communicate requirements to Suppliers. 
  • Ensures inventory levels meet production needs as well as raw materials inventory projections and financial targets. 
  • Expedites material shipments as required from Suppliers. Ensures follow up on past due invoices. 
  • Communicates vendor master revisions to Supplier Management for BPCS updates. 
  • Executes Supplier Contracts and agreements where appropriate. 
  • Responsible of the ownership of the MRP generation and timing. 
  • Ensures receiving inspection releases to stock. 
  • Maintain on time delivery/due dates in the system and reflect any changes as required OTD of 98%- linkage to Commodity Specialist. 
  • Coordinates return to vendor and replacement activities with Supplier Management Group for non- conforming trends by Supplier. 
  • Follows all standard operating procedures. 
  • May make recommendations for changes and improvements to purchasing systems and procedures. 
  • Responsible for pre-purchase screening of equipment and supplies that might have adverse effect on the health, safety and environment of our employees and customers. 
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
     

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 8 Degree in Business or  equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • 3 + years experience working in a Planning role.
  • Medical device / Pharmaceutical experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using SAP.
  • First class communication skills
  • Experience data analytical tools such as Excel,Tableu.
