Finance Analyst
Location: Cork, Ireland - Hybrid working - 1 day a week on site
Duration: 12 months

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and supporting the Janssen Sciences Ireland biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The role will give the opportunity to engage with various local and global business partners and also global finance teams. Overall it involves a high degree of exposure to people & processes across the entire manufacturing plant and the wider platform.
roles and responsibilities
Partnering with local & global business partners to deliver on financial commitments and develop relationships to become a trusted finance business partner
Primary finance business partner for onsite Global R&D team, managing financial reporting and charge out activity.
Ownership of annual R&D tax credit preparation and submission to Revenue in conjunction with external audit & taxation partners.
Finance business partner to Global Functions and various operational departments, working with the functions to prepare forecasts and BVA analysis.
Manufacturing Variances (e.g. MUV, PPV, SPV) – supporting analyzing variances to understand key drivers and provide analysis of same to business partners
Consolidated Profit & Loss – supporting analyzing the manufacturing Profit & Loss and associated technical inventory adjustments.
Planning & Finance process integration, providing finance support and collaborating to ensure effective integration of the planning & finance processes.
Developing continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and to aid decision-making processes suitable for a fast-paced environment.
Preparing detailed analytics to provide insights and deliver performance.
Implementing the Johnson and Johnson finance Digital Transformation at a site level.
Adhering to compliance Corporate Accounting Procedures and Approval Guidelines
how to succeed
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant
A minimum of 2-4 years finance experience
Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
Strong Excel skills
Preferred
Experience in a complex multinational environment
Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence tools
