Job Title: Project Control Coordinator  

Reports To: Project Controls Manager

 

We are currently recruiting a Project Controls Coordinator to join our contingent workforce at the Visioncare site in Limerick. This position will initially be for 12 months.

 

The Role:

 

You will organise, coordinate and facilitate cost controls on major capital projects in the Visioncare Portfolio. You will coordinate aspects of cost control project requirements to meet capital performance targets. 



Responsibilities:

  • Procurement activities for major capital projects
  • Prepares and processes purchase requisitions to meet spend plan requirements
  • Coordination of timely requisition approvals
  • Coordination of Invoicing Timelines with Project Managers and Vendor Management for major capital projects
  • Review and support on Capital Mismatches with Project Managers 
  • Project Spend Plans and forecasting support with Project Managers
  • Support to Project Managers on Monthly Spend Commits 
  • Actively interfacing with project managers, always practicing good teamwork in support of day to day requirements
  • Other project control activities as required


 

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:


  • Candidates should have experience in a similar role, strong analytical ability, detailed knowledge of cost controls and budget management, proficient in use of excel applications and good communication.
  • Knowledge and Experience of Procurement Systems 
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Third level degree in business or other relevant discipline



Other Desirable Criteria:

  • Prior experience in a GMP or medical device manufacturing environment 
  • Develop good working relationships across the business 
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • To be able to demonstrate excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail
