IT Technical Product Owner
Location: Leiden
Duration: 12 months contract

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Product owner owns the technology product and drives product vision and priorities at the site level.
Product Strategy - Accountable for assigned Product strategies at the site, and innovative technology solutions.
Develop strategy in collaboration with Site Leader for the assigned scope of products.
Understand the business’s processes, needs, and priorities for the product
Has good working knowledge of the site product eco system, its connection points, technology architecture.
Drives Harmonization across sites within the segment – digital maturity, business process & technology standardization
Maximizes ROI by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value
Accountable for Cybersecurity/TLM strategy roadmap incorporated into segment product roadmap
Business Relationship Management - Partners with JJT Site Leader to help shape & deliver business capabilities for the site while ensuring reliable, compliant, and secure environment.
Backup for the JJT Site Leader as a Single Point of Contact for the Site Business Leadership and Site business and technology stakeholders
Responsible for continuous process improvement at the site in both technology and process capabilities
Product Portfolio -Takes direction from the JJT Site Leader on the Portfolio management and prioritization at the site for the set of products.
Accountable for Product features roadmap / deployments
Partners with Make Site Leader on Prioritization of the backlog
Responsible for establishing a cadence of updates on the progress to the JJT Site Leader and business teams.
Provides input to BP/LRFP for the site to JJT Site Leader.
Financial Management -Drive opportunities for cost optimization for the Plant. Has good understanding of the product costs and partners with site finance.
Owns all financial aspects of the product & corresponding portfolio management.
Accountable for TCO for Product & Services for their scope (Plant JJT MAKE TCO)
Backup to the JJT Make Site Leader as a SPOC for Site Finance team to ensure proper budgeting for technology plant costs, aligned with Segment MAKE PL & BTLs
Drives Overall technology Cost Optimization in partnership with TS and TS finance
E2E Operational Plant Technology Ownership – Products & Processes –
Supports Site Leader in accountability for technology Operational efficiencies, ensuring reliable cost-efficient environment.
Drives continuous improvements, delivering on financial commitments.
Product Catalog and Site factbook
Minimum Qualification
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Biotechnology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes of issues and think out of the box to develop a solution.
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines and maintain a positive attitude.

Other Requirements
Basic understanding of business drivers/processes and the ability to relate priorities to associated technology investments.
Ability to create context around key business drivers and strategic plan and present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Working knowledge of multiple technical disciplines (SAP, MES, Historian (OSIsoft), Databases, eLIMS, Labeling solutions, Infrastructure such as WAN/LAN, Hosting, and Storage solutions, MS Windows, Desktop computing hardware and software, and peripherals (e.g. handheld scanner)
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures associated with frameworks (Agile, ITIL)
Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies (SDLC, CSV)
Experience with GxP / Manufacturing Environments
Key Competencies:
Project Management skills in deployment of major IT capabilities (like manufacturing / shop floor systems)
Strong customer focus, service orientation, analytical skills and sense of urgency
Strong planning and project execution skills
Ability to work under pressure, to take accountability and meet deadlines
Strong communication, organizational influencing skills, good capability to set up collaborative relationship
Proficiency in English, and Dutch is desirable
