Hourly Pay rate range:  €35 - €40.30 PAYE/ €45 - €50.53 LTD


Imagine your next project where you will have the opportunity to lead the EMEA delivery team for all day-to-day distribution operations. You will be the single point of contract to manage, lead and be accountable for the performance of a minimum of five 3rd party logistic distribution centres for Surgical and Consumer Eye Health Products in the EMEA region.




roles and responsibilities

This role is accountable for the day to day operations within each Distribution Centre (DC) ensuring order are accurately checked in as well as supervising each DC against the agreed weekly performance metrics


This will involve: 

  • Accountable for driving 3PL compliance against established Targets.

  • Measures and owns the distribution metrics across EMEA 3PLs.

  • Leads 3PLs daily operations & & takes corrective action for daily operational problems.

  • Drives efficiency through identifying bottlenecks as well as root causes for operational issues and supports their resolution.

  • Partners cross-functionally with commercial, Plan, Make, customer service, warehouse and transportation teams to resolve/achieve targets.

  • Responsible for providing leadership, mentor and feedback to all internal & external teams regarding all supply chain operational initiatives.

  • Primary Contact point for all distribution process and service issues.

  • Issuance and maintenance of SOPs, Operations manuals related to operational processes across EMEA.

  • Leads new product launches at EMEA 3PLs & internal SAP master data updates.

  • Identify improvement areas and optimise 3PL performance in partnership with JJOS.

  • Drive efficiencies and CIPs. Undertakes optimization to increase efficiency and quality and to reduce costs. Measure CIP progress throughout the year and report monthly progress.




how to succeed

You will have 4 to 5 years experience in supply chain and distribution operations within a highly regulated industry. 


You will also bring:

  • BA in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business required/  Advanced degree like MA and MBA preferred.

  • Strong experience in leading distribution centres and or 3rd party logistics providers.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office is required.

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) APICS - Preferred but not crucial

  • Proven Supply Chain operations in a complex environment.

  • Demonstrated evidence of driving customer experience.

  • Excellent collaborator; strong on partnering, partner management and effective interpersonal skills at all levels within a company

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and project management skills; proven track record in process design

  • Presence and persistence to face off with and be a challenge partner to business leaders throughout regional Deliver

  • Collaboration - able to build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focus

  • Ability to work well within team structures and provide leadership as required.
