The Project:

The Marketing Operations Specialist is a recommended new role within our Technology organisation that has sufficient autonomy, clear objectives, and accountability to ensure key multi-functional partners (Marketing, Sales, and Agency Partners) follow the standard operating procedures, defined processes and technical compliance to enable speed to market of our Marketing content supply chain. 


 

This role is pivotal in marrying technical capabilities/know-how with an eye for business to identify areas of continuous improvement across people, process, and technology that aligns to the larger digital first strategy of the organisation.


 

This role’s strategic responsibilities specific to the EMEA Consumer Health business are:

  • Accountable for the administration and user management for marketing technologies related to the digital asset supply chain (Digital Asset Management, Marketing Resource Management)
  • Assist with maintaining associated governance actions for user groups, permissions, and access, data model management, and workflow management within the relevant technology platforms.
  • Responsible for the timely response, solution, and maintenance of the Marketing content supply chain ecosystem issues through an incident management tool and weekly stand-ups.
  • Responsible for the management of system audits and HEART metrics to ensure successful user adoption & engagement and standards of data integrity in the content supply chain ecosystems.
  • Work with multi-functional teams (i.e. Marketing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, etc) and external agencies as needed to establish rules/regulations/meta-data properties and that updates are adhered to prior to data/information entering any/all systems.
  • Support the global multi-functional teams, partners, and agencies with system improvements, training, issue management resolutions and standard methodology sharing.
  • Responsible for updating documentation of business processes, training, technical integrations, and the attribute/data dictionary related to the content supply chain.


 

Daily Execution Of Marketing Operations Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Heavy exposure to data model development, digital asset management concepts, marketing resource management workflow concepts, and creative/legal workflows.
  • Assisting with the management of business process design and organisational change 
  • Supports global and EMEA product owners with user experience enhancements/ management
  • Proactively handles potential bottlenecks
  • Point of contact and responsible for resolving partner concerns and exceptions 
  • Handles new user access and assists with training set-up 
  • Ensures quality and business rules compliance
  • Supervises HEART metrics and provides practical insights/recommendations for monthly strategic capability review sessions


 

Experience Required:

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and design skills
  • Being meticulous and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
  • Be able to handle complexity and perform in multiple parallel workstreams 
  • Good facilitation skills. Ability to work in a complex team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a go-getter / can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • Ability to translate business requirements into Technical Epics/Stories. Experience working across multiple levels of business and IT partners.
  • Strong personal dedication to continuous business improvement, and effectively collaborating and managing our business partners
  • Experience working in an Agile environment. Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity, capable to change priorities quickly.
  • In-depth experience with Aprimo, Workfront, BrandMaker or a similar Marketing workflow tool is strongly preferred
  • Experience with DAM, PIM, or MRM platforms, and Process Design a plus

In return for this role you will receive a very competitive hourly rate. A minimum 12 month contract & an opportunity to work with a Global Leader within the Pharmaceutical sector, Johnson & Johnson.
