Johnson & Johnson Worksense (via Randstad Sourceright) is responsible for finding, engaging and contracting talent for the Johnson & Johnson contingent workforce.

 

We are currently recruiting a Master Scheduler to join our contingent workforce on a growing team in Janssen Pharmaceuticals for an initial 12 month contract. 
 

The Role:  

Responsible for the generation of Integrated Master Schedules depicting technical scope, progress against established baselines, and remaining work for programs.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain project schedule information data such as progress, resources, budget and project performance on a weekly basis.
  • Support the construction of detailed work plans for project execution under your leadership.
  • Coordinate and consolidate inputs to ensure all detailed work plans are consistent with and included in the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Provide analysis of critical and driving paths.
  • Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems.
  • Analyse, monitor and review all project schedules to ensure resource limitations, interdependencies, and risk are addressed.
  • Provide input and recommendations to project managers and senior management regarding scheduling conflicts/changes.
  • Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events in the program and portray them in the schedule.
  • Report to senior management with schedule related status and reports.
  • Timely escalation of situations that put the progress of projects at risk.
  • Support projects that require an AGILE approach through challenging traditional scheduling approach.
  • Work with Engineering to define, develop and maintain capital project planning and reporting (KPIs) aligns with site and platform requirements in mind.
  • Draft and update project management governance documentation, including related policies, standard operating procedures and terms of reference.
  • Provide specialized advice for the development, implementation and evaluation of capital projects in alignment with project management best practices and the approved PMO framework and methodology.
  • Keeps senior management informed on project status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on project cost.
  • Engage with project stakeholders to discuss status of new and ongoing projects and provide updates of risks and issues; discuss and follow up on the agreed risk mitigation and issue resolution; provide project assurance.
  • Design surveys, undertake data collection, analyze information, and produce reports outlining problems, conclusions and trends.
  • Manages site Project Portfolio in Planisware


 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 8 Degree in one of these fields or similar: Engineering, Production / Supply Chain Management, Lean Operations.
  • Project Management qualification/certification preferred – e.g. Diploma, Masters, PMP, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years overall business experience required, with minimum 2 years experience in a relevant scheduling role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong cross-functional business acumen and proven track record in the planning of cross functional projects.
