Location: Groningen, Netherlands
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 40 hours per week, onsite

roles and responsibilities
Contributes to development of optical metrology tools.
Develop, test, validate and improve processes, equipment, test methods, and procedures; define technical requirements.
Has increased independence and responsibility for experiment execution, analytical method development, data integrity, and GxP compliance.
Supports concept development and participates in metrology advancement.
Plan and execute validation and verification studies, including test plans, protocols, data analysis, and issue resolution.
Implement new or modified processes, author SOPs, protocols, risk assessments.
Maintain compliance with cGMP, ISO standards.
Collaborate with Operations, QA, and Manufacturing Engineering to support implementation and design transfer.
Stay current on engineering methods, tools, and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in process development
how to succeed
Master’s degree preferred with experience
Preferably around 3 years of experience
Experience in medical device industry with strong background in process development and validation.
Expertise in statistical design of experiments and process qualification.
Preferably: experience with SW development for automation and/or development, validation and implementation of measurement methods.
Familiar with optical metrology principles and analysis.
Demonstrable research experience and interest in technology development.
Strong problem solving, communication and prioritization skills.
Creative, flexible, positive attitude; team oriented.
Able to maintain relationships at different levels.
Knowledge of work rules, procedures, and MS Office.
