NL - Project Engineer Manufacturing Execution System Implementation

Johnson & Johnson Worksense (via Randstad Sourceright) is responsible for finding, engaging and contracting talent for the Johnson & Johnson contingent workforce.

For Janssen Vaccines, we are looking for a Project Engineer MES Implementation.

Overall purpose of job:

Supports and drives Vaccine Launch Facility [VLF] Manufacturing Execution System [MES] implementation. Analyzing manufacturing process assessing process data and lean out inputs to implement digital master batch records.  

Scope is the vaccine launch facility core processes and the supporting processes such as IT/ Execution systems, Operations etc.  Project starts with a feasibility study til ± mar22 and will transition into implementation mid 2022.     
 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Deploy Manufacturing Execution System at the Vaccine Launch Facility    

• Core team member of the project MES implementation at the vaccine Launch facility. Reporting to the project lead the assigned deliverables for the project engineer.
• Project aims to implement an integrated and paperless manufacturing execution system (Pas-X Werum) on all manufacturing areas.
• Learn all the process stages and assess the Master batch records data needed to be captured in the system. Use Lean methodology to ensure as efficient as possible data entry.
• As such an interface between production and the project team to ensure customer demands are met.
• Delivers with the project team a scope for the implementation phase.
• Deliver with the team an implementation plan how to deploy MES at the VLF
• Ensures next to the MES system implementation capabilities, metrics and organization changes are identified. Proposes a holistic implementation strategy / plan at the end of the feasibility study.

Qualifications, experience and required job profile competences:

• A minimum of a Bachelor in a (bio) engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in automated industry is required, preferably in digital batch records area.
• Knowledge in the area of automation and data analytics.
• Persuasiveness, ability to be change agent, capable of influencing without direct authority is required. Sensitivity Adjusting messages pending the targeted audience.
• Knowledge of compliance, safety and environmental regulations computer and data analytics skills.
• Data driven with ability to bring [manufacturing] context to the data.
• Defines problems and reaches valid conclusions.
• Prepares and delivers effective presentations to the core team.
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP or eLIMS.
• Lean Six Sigma experience/certification is desirable.
   

EXTRA INFORMATION:

• You have to work on-site 5 days per week.
• This is a contracting position, with the possibility of an extension after the end date. You will receive a contract via our partner YACHT. They can offer you a contract for the duration of the assignment at J&J, a one year contract or a freelance contract (ZZP).
