The Outbound Transport Analyst is responsible to support transportation daily operations and supports driving innovation in transportation processes, analysing data to support KPI delivery for operational excellence.
roles and responsibilities
Support the design and execution of transportation improvement projects focused on innovation, cost reduction, and sustainability efforts, ultimately enhancing overall service delivery.
Continuously monitor and analyse transportation data, supporting metric reporting processes, providing valuable insights that inform decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Support shipment complaints and claims process and to drive systemic process changes to eliminate defects (working with internal and external partners)
Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including Distribution Center (DC) operations and freight service providers, to ensure seamless daily operations of transportation services.
how to succeed
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, preferably in a freight or operations role.
Business fluent in English, fluency in additional European languages is a plus;
Demonstrated analytical skills with capability to query systems to extract sets of data for analysis.
Ability to perform complex analysis and simulations using different tools
IT literacy (Good MS-Excel – other databases, such as Oracle, Access, SAP). Experience in data visualization tools and software such as Power BI.
Experience in analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to transportation and logistics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Ability to identify issues, think critically, and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement and innovation in transportation processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and logistics regulations
