Kenvue have an exciting new opportunity open as a Packaging Design Project Lead, managing projects related to packaging production work in their packaging artwork space!


roles and responsibilities

This will involve: 

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications

  • Create and maintain project schedules and timelines

  • Allocate design tasks to appropriate team members

  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines

  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks in project workflow

  • Establish process for quality assurance and control for design deliverables

  • Project handover from Global to Regional teams on completion

  • Act as the central point of contact for design project inquiries and updates

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between design teams, project managers, business partners, vendors and other stakeholders

  • Resolve conflicts or issues related to project priorities, requirements, or resources

  • Establish process for review of design deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications

  • Provide feedback and guidance to designers for continuous improvement

  • Implement quality control processes to maintain consistency and excellence in design work

  • Continuously evaluate and refine design workflows and processes for efficiency and productivity

  • Identify opportunities for automation or optimization in the design project lifecycle

  • Maintain accurate records of project details, including timelines, resource allocation, and project status updates

  • Generate regular reports on project metrics, team performance, and resource utilization

  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis


how to succeed

You will have excellent communication skills, leadership qualities and a keen eye for detail. You will also have strong problem solving skills and time management skills. You will also bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably with a focus on packaging, label, and/or artwork

  • Experience in working in PM tools; Agile PM

  • Basic understanding of design principles and processes

  • Competency in project management methodologies and tools

  • Knowledge of design quality standards and ability to review design deliverables for adherence to these standards

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools to generate project reports and make data-driven decisions

  • Familiarity with design software and collaboration tools

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Collaboration skills

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and requirements

  • Conflict resolution skills

  • Stakeholder management skills

  • Creativity in finding innovative ways to optimize design workflows and processes

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Customer-centric approach


desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Design Project Manager or Design Traffic Manager

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Wrike, Asana, or Workfront
