Planning Analyst
Clinical Supply Chain – Supply Network Planning Analyst
Location: Beerse - Hybrid working - at least one day a week on site
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 40 hours per week
Within Therapeutics Development & Supply, the Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) organization has an open position for a Supply Network Planning Analyst. We are looking for enthusiastic talent with growth potential.
CSC holds the responsibility of global clinical supplies of the Janssen Research & Development portfolio and the Global Medical Affairs portfolio. Our activities include all in-house and outsourced manufacturing of clinical supplies (API, Drug Product, Packaged and Labelled Clinical Supplies), demand forecasting, supply planning, and global distribution of supplies. Through a global network and organization (US, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands, India, China), we secure supplies of Small Molecules, BioTherapeutics and other products in development and low volume commercial supply to more than 60.000 patients in around 300 clinical trials every year.
The role
As a Supply Network Planning Analyst, you champion innovation and improvements to the Supply Network Planning parameters and processes with the aim to improve speed, reliability and flexibility to deliver clinical supplies across the CSC value streams and production processes (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, Drug Product, Packaging & Labelling).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, own and maintain a Long-Range Capacity Plan for every production process in the clinical supply chain.
Collaborate with relevant business partners to develop a LRCP and obtain inputs to run the model.
Team up with the Supply Network Planner to communicate the LRCP to relevant business partners and stakeholders across CSC, Janssen R&D and Janssen Supply Chain.
Review and update key Supply Network Planning parameters such as production lead times, planning time fences, etc.,.
Develop and implement SNP Planning parameter analytics, metrics and reports.
Work with the relevant SNP and accountable process step owners to periodically review and update SNP Planning parameters in the planning systems.
Through Reliability Room meetings, see to the synchronized and timely delivery of supplies from one process step to the next.
Transactional data (Batch status, Delivery Dates, In-transits, etc..,) serves as a critical input into accurate supply network planning. You verify these for accuracy in our SNP systems.
You assist in the preparation, hosting and follow-ups of the various Reliability Room meetings across SNP.
You identify batches (API, DP, Components, Finished Kits) that are on the critical path for timely delivery of clinical supplies to the Central depot and communicate these to relevant process step owners.
You hold the relevant associates accountable for synchronized and timely delivery of supplies from one process step to the next.
Qualifications
Education:
You acquired preferable an advanced degree (Master), min Bachelor’s degree.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
You have at least 4 years business-related experience and min. 3 years of Planning experience
Experience with complex planning tools & solid understanding of ERP systems and Advanced Planning Systems is required (SAP & OMP preferred)

Preferred:
Experience in a pharma environment (GxP).
APICS/Lean certification is a plus.
