PPWR Packaging Compliance & Quality Specialist


Location: Dublin, Liffey Valley

Duration: 12 months (end of 2026)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working mode: Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days at home)

roles and responsibilities

Implementation of processes required for AMO Ireland as Importer, and EU Marketing Companies and Distribution Centers (as Distributors) to meet EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).  This will involve: 

  • Familiarizes with EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) to understand requirements for AMO Ireland as Importer, EU JJV Marketing Companies and Distribution Centers (as Distributors).

  • Supports the development and implementation of processes, procedures and/or work instructions related to requirements of EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

  • Ensures all packaging that is under responsibility of AMO Ireland as Importer is identified, as well as all packaging that is used within EU Marketing Companies and Distribution Centers (as Distributors).

  • Ensures all required documentation for all packaging under responsibility of AMO Ireland as Importer, as well as for all packaging that is used within EU Marketing Companies and Distribution Centers (as Distributors), is gathered and appropriately stored.

  • Collaborates with Franchise and Deliver.

  • Engages with relevant departments to ensure alignment in meeting the requirements.

  • Support the implementation and administration of Quality Management Systems in accordance with applicable standards.

  • Performs Economic Operator Verifications for compliance to PPWR


how to succeed

You will have a passion for continuous improvement and excellent communication skills to allow to work effectively across various levels and teams. You will have a strong sense of personal responsibility and be able to work both as an individual leader and be a strong team player. You will also bring:

  • University/Bachelors Degree or equivalent strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in Quality Assurance or Regulatory affairs in medical devices, pharmaceutical industry.

  • You will be knowledgeable in ISO and EU MDD/MDR regulations

  • You will have experience of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

  • Experience and ability to work effectively across many different functions internally and externally, which will ensure that we meet both the customer and business needs.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month period. This is a hybrid role (3 days on site in Dublin)
