Imagine your next role as a Process Engineer who will develop and implement innovative technology standards and best practices of manufacturing equipment and processes which are continuously improved and applied. To lead and support technical-related projects and activities with a focus both on local and global initiatives with the special know-how as an engineer, while applying also special competencies according to skills and education. 




roles and responsibilities


  • Serve as Technical Automation Expert for key technologies

  •  Organize and perform planning, feasibilities, development, design, purchasing, and implementation of automation / electrical components, hard- and software (i.e. PLC, HMI, Drives, Vision Systems, Robotics, automation systems), including design documentation and administration according to the local Engineering Automation standards and systems.  

  • Consider internal, local, and international Automation/Electrical requirements, standards, and regulations for function, quality, and safety, while designing and dimensioning equipment (e.g. DIN VDE/VDI, and standards).

  • Comply with the CE requirements, and deliver the required documentation

  •  Perform equipment-related feasibility studies, plan and perform factory acceptance tests, and electrical safety tests if appropriate

  • Incorporate into the development state of the technical principles and latest technologies.

  • As Electrical Engineer holds the status of authorization for the “Electrically qualified Person/ Elektrofachkraft”





how to succeed


The ideal candidate will have:


  • Demonstrated expertise in engineering techniques and practices with respect to manufacturing technologies.

  • Distinct communication skills and 

  • Distinct analytical thinking capabilities, and prudent risk-taking.

  • Six Sigma and/or Lean education and/or other sound statistical knowledge (nice to have)

  • Basic Quality knowledge and knowledge about product testing, preferably from medical devices or pharmaceutical industries

  • Good MS Office knowledge.

  • Sound knowledge about technical standards and legal requirements for machine safety and electrical safety.

  • Language skills required: German (C1) + English (B2)

  • Min 5 years relevant experience in Automation

This role offers a competitive hourly rate, the possibility to work as Freelancer  & a supportive working environment. This contract will run initially until the end of December 2023.
