Imagine your next role as a Project Coordinator. We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our site in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.  



Key responsibilities: 


  • Work closely with the MES business deployment teams to develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule

  • Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple business deployments;

  • Ensure that all projects are being scheduled and forecast using a consistent approach for all deployments

  • Owner of all deployment plans for MES and keeping them up to date 

  • Incorporates several business deployment schedules into a master project plan

  • Ensure that all MES deployments have resource plans in place and help the project actively to create, maintain, and monitor resource plans

  • Supports the MES project lead in preparing and updating cost spend curves and financial forecasts according to project schedules

  • Oversees and manages dependencies connected to the project schedule  

  • Identifying activities impacting the schedule’s critical path and facilitating the identification of opportunities to accelerate completion of the work, or measures to avoid potential delays. Supports and consults scenarios built for MES deployments, schedule adoption, and their impacts.

  • Provides regular report-outs to the business deployment team and the project lead on the timeline, dependencies, schedule risks/issues, resources, milestones, critical path, schedule variances, actual vs plan, and opportunities

  • Defining an appropriate WBS in line with the adopted project development and project delivery strategy

  • Maximizing the efficiency of the project strategy with respect to cost, time, and contingency





how to succeed:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Proven work experience in project scheduling

  • Proficiency with scheduling software, with a strong preference placed for MS Project, and/or Primavera

  • Requires strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Projects, and Microsoft PowerPoint

  • An understanding of critical path methodology to ensure, and communicate, the timely delivery of milestone tasks

  • Ability to multi-task and handle several deployment schedules in parallel

  • Ability to work under pressure (timelines and deadlines) when required

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English

  • Certification received through PMI, Prince2, GPM, or other similar organizations focused on the recognition of expertise in Project Management is helpful

  • Experience in project planning/scheduling within the pharmaceutical industry
