Project Manager - MDR Supply Chain

roles and responsibilities
The role of the Continuity Planning team is to ensure that the Joints Supply Chain is ready to execute major changes either driven by external factors (such as MDR & Brexit) or internal programs . The primary goals of the CP team are to protect service and minimize costs. MDR is an industry change currently driving significant disruption.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in developing and tracking Supply Chain execution & SKU level MDD to MDR transition plans. The person will be responsible for delivering a smooth supply chain transition for these businesses. This will involve:
Providing leadership for Joints supply transition teams, leading weekly execution calls to track progress to plan. Escalate risks and hold team members accountable for their deliverables. Avoid service disruption wherever possible while maintaining compliance and balancing cost/service metrics.
Responsible for developing execution plans for all SKUs in the Tech Files, including non-CE variants where required for the US market and focus oEU markets.
Support cutover plan activities to develop timelines for supply chain execution for certain Tech Files
Collaboration with multiple functions (R&D, Marketing & Commercial, Regulatory, Finance, Manufacturing & Regional Planning teams) across multiple geographies (US, Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East)
Facilitate and lead project reviews with senior stakeholders
Develop deep knowledge of MDR requirements and DPS supply chain design.
Troubleshoot ad hoc issues as needed and manage required escalations where required.
how to succeed
You will bring:
Third level qualification required, MBA or Masters Degree preferred.
Previous experience in a logistics/supply chain role is essential
Proven organizational & collaboration skills
Computer Literate
Customer focus (internal & external)
Good interpersonal skills required
Good written, oral, and presentation skills required
Proven ability to collaborate to get to desired result
Comfortable with change and ambiguity
Adaptable to meet rapidly changing priorities

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month period and has a strong chance of extension. Hybrid working style (standard 3 days on-site)
